The Libyan Young Professionals Network (LYPN) is a dynamic platform for Libyan professionals living and working in the UK. Whether you are an experienced leader, a mid-career specialist, or a recent graduate launching a business idea, LYPN helps you expand your professional network, access sector-specific knowledge and convert connections into tangible opportunities. Our programmes include structured mentorship pairings, sector roundtables (finance, tech, healthcare, law, creative industries), skills workshops and pitch clinics designed specifically for Libyan founders.

LYPN places particular emphasis on entrepreneurship among younger Libyans. Through the Libyan Excellence Campaign and targeted start-up support, we showcase success stories, provide investor-readiness support and host cohort-based incubator sprints that help early-stage ventures reach proof-of-concept and market traction. All LYPN activities prioritise measurable outcomes: job matches, funded start-ups, and collaborative projects between UK- and Libya-based organisations.

We deliver events both online and in-person to ensure accessibility across the UK. Each event is accompanied by practical resources — playbooks, recordings and toolkits — so members can immediately apply what they learn. LYPN also partners with universities, professional bodies and corporate sponsors to open up internships, placements and pro-bono advisory hours for community members.
