The 2019 Ramadan Iftar was organised under LYUK’s Community Hub programme to bring Libyans and the wider UK community together in a welcoming environment. Attendees enjoyed a three-course Libyan meal and cultural conversation; proceeds helped fund LYUK’s community events. Ticketed at £30 per person, the Iftar emphasised hospitality, intergenerational connection and cultural celebration.
