Community Hub

The Community Hub is dedicated to empowering the Libyan community across the United Kingdom through inclusive, practical, and culturally sensitive programmes. We create a space where individuals can come together, connect, and access opportunities that support personal and professional growth. Whether through targeted training, one-to-one mentoring, or social events, our goal is to provide tools and resources that help members thrive in the UK while remaining connected to their heritage.

We focus on developing programmes that respond directly to community needs, drawing on consultation and feedback from local members. From workshops that build digital skills and prepare participants for the workplace, to enterprise and leadership programmes that foster innovation and confidence, the Hub seeks to equip individuals with both practical abilities and social networks. We also provide outreach services that connect community members to essential health, legal, and housing support, ensuring that everyone, from new arrivals to UK-born Libyans, can access guidance when it matters most.

Social events, intergenerational gatherings, and networking opportunities form a core part of the Hub’s work, helping to strengthen connections and reduce isolation within the community. Each programme is carefully designed to be accessible, often delivered bilingually and scheduled to accommodate different needs, with support available for childcare and transport where required. Beyond training and social connection, the Hub is a place where voices can be heard, ideas shared, and a sense of belonging cultivated.
